The Life Sciences & Healthcare sector is in a state of permanent transformation. Innovation, legislative developments, and technological changes compel us to continuously adapt and train. I have built my career on this idea: for scientific progress to reach society, we need professional profiles that evolve at the same rate as the market.
This constant adaptation gives rise to hybrid profiles, capable of addressing the complex needs of healthcare stakeholders and decision-makers. My role as an interlocutor is precisely that: to analyze the scenarios—public, private, or concerted—and devise the most effective strategy, combining political, economic, and access perspectives so that innovation finds its path.

From strategy to results
The last decade of my career has unfolded at the heart of the sector’s strategy, leading areas of Health Policy, Institutional Relations, and Market Access in leading companies such as Takeda, Biogen, and Ipsen. Currently, I am fortunate to be the Head of Health Policy for Iberia at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, actively participating in its arrival in Europe. This experience is grounded in a previous decade at Grunenthal Pharma and my beginnings in companies such as Orion Pharma, Nutricia, Rottapharm, and Cinfa.

Understanding the future of the sector is an obligation. My commitment to continuous training has led me to pursue high-level postgraduate degrees to stay at the forefront. This constant preparation allows me to offer a current and anticipatory vision, analyzing the trends that define the market to turn them into strategic opportunities for my clients.

My profile is supported by a unique academic combination. My foundation as a Bachelor of Sociology and Political Science (University of A Coruña) provides me with a deep understanding of social structures and public policies. On top of that, I have built a robust specialization with a Master’s in Health Economics and Medicines (Pompeu Fabra) and an Advanced Management Program (IE Business School), which provide me with the economic rigor and business vision essential to defend the value of innovation.
